Our products include diagnostic and therapeutic devices such as neuropathy screening tools, vascular assessment systems, plantar pressure analyzers, pain and wound care equipment, and podiatry instruments.

The App is designed to support authorized users in recording patient information, receiving test and measurement values from compatible Diabetik Foot Care India devices, maintaining assessment records, and generating reports.

The App is categorized as a Productivity application on Google Play.

2. Information We Collect and Process

The information processed by the App depends on how the App is used and may include user account information, patient information, health/assessment information, and data received from compatible devices.

2.1 User Account Information

The App uses Firebase Authentication for user registration, login, authentication, and verification.

Depending on the authentication method provided by the App, Firebase Authentication may process account-related information such as:

  • Mobile number
  • Email address, where applicable
  • Authentication credentials or authentication tokens
  • Information required to verify and manage the user account

We use this information for authentication, account management, and verification purposes. Patient health information is not intentionally stored in Firebase Authentication.

2.2 Patient and Assessment Information

The App allows authorized users to enter and maintain patient-related information for assessment and report-generation purposes.

Depending on the features used, this information may include:

  • Patient name
  • Patient identification information
  • Age or date of birth
  • Gender
  • Contact information, where entered
  • Foot assessment information
  • Monofilament test results
  • Neuropathy-related assessment results
  • Measurements and values received from compatible devices
  • Other patient or assessment information entered by the authorized user
  • Information required to generate patient reports

Patient and assessment information is treated as confidential and is intended to be accessed only by authorized users.

3. Bluetooth and Device Data

The App supports communication with compatible Diabetik Foot Care India products using:

  • Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
  • Classic Bluetooth

The App may receive measurement, assessment, or test-related values from compatible devices.

Bluetooth connectivity is used to:

  • Discover and connect to compatible devices
  • Communicate with compatible devices
  • Receive test or measurement values
  • Use received values for assessment and report generation

The App is designed to connect with compatible Diabetik Foot Care India products and does not intentionally collect information from unrelated Bluetooth devices.

The App does not use Bluetooth connectivity for general-purpose location tracking.

4. How We Use Information

Information processed through the App is used to provide its intended functionality, including:

  • Creating and managing user accounts
  • Authenticating and verifying authorized users
  • Connecting to compatible Diabetik Foot Care India devices
  • Receiving test and measurement values from compatible devices
  • Recording patient assessment information
  • Maintaining patient records locally on the device
  • Generating patient assessment reports

We do not use patient or assessment information for advertising or targeted advertising.

5. Data Storage

5.1 Local Storage

Patient information, assessment results, and related report information are stored locally on the user's device.

The App uses a local SQL database located within the App's private/internal application storage.

Patient information is not intentionally uploaded to Firebase Authentication.

The App's private/internal storage is subject to the security mechanisms and protections provided by the user's device and operating system.

5.2 Firebase Authentication

Firebase Authentication is used for user registration, login, authentication, and verification.

Firebase Authentication may process account-related information required to provide these services.

Patient information, assessment records, and locally generated reports are not intentionally stored in Firebase Authentication.

6. Report Generation

The App uses patient information and assessment/test values to generate reports.

Reports may contain patient and assessment-related information entered by the authorized user or received from compatible devices.

Reports are generated for the intended functionality of the App and its compatible Diabetik Foot Care India products.

Unless otherwise stated within the App, patient information and generated reports are maintained locally on the user's device and are not intentionally uploaded to our servers.

Users are responsible for handling, storing, and sharing generated reports appropriately.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade patient information or assessment information.

We do not intentionally share patient information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Patient information is maintained locally on the user's device and is not intentionally uploaded to Firebase Authentication.

Account authentication information may be processed by Firebase Authentication as necessary to provide authentication and verification functionality.

We may disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, court order, or valid governmental request.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App.

Patient and assessment information is stored within the App's private/internal application storage on the user's device.

Access to locally stored information is subject to the security protections provided by the user's device and operating system.

Authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication.

However, no electronic storage system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their devices and authentication credentials against unauthorized access.

9. Data Retention

Patient and assessment information stored locally by the App remains on the user's device until it is:

  • Deleted by an authorized user using available App functionality;
  • Removed when the App's application data is cleared;
  • Removed when the App is uninstalled; or
  • Otherwise deleted by the user or device administrator.

Because patient information is stored locally, users should ensure that required records and reports are appropriately retained according to their organization's applicable policies before clearing application data or uninstalling the App.

Authentication-related account information may be retained by Firebase according to the applicable Firebase Authentication service and account lifecycle.

10. Account and Data Deletion

Users who create an account through the App may request deletion of their account by contacting us using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy.

We may request sufficient information to verify the account and deletion request before processing it.

Because patient information and reports are stored locally on the user's device, users should also delete locally stored patient information and reports through the App's available functionality or by clearing the App's data/uninstalling the App, where applicable.

Account deletion does not necessarily mean that information that must be retained to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, or organizational requirements will be immediately deleted.

11. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services necessary to provide certain functionality.

Firebase Authentication

We use Firebase Authentication for:

  • User registration
  • Login
  • User authentication
  • Account verification

Firebase Authentication may process account-related information necessary to provide these services.

The App does not intentionally use Firebase Authentication to store patient health records, assessment records, or reports.

12. Compatible Device Connectivity

The App is designed to communicate with compatible Diabetik Foot Care India devices using BLE and/or Classic Bluetooth.

The App may receive test and measurement values from compatible devices and use those values as part of the applicable assessment and report-generation functionality.

Users should use the App and compatible devices according to their intended purpose, instructions for use, and applicable product documentation.

13. Information and Report Disclaimer

The App is designed to assist authorized users in recording assessment information, receiving values from compatible devices, organizing patient records, and generating reports.

The App and its generated reports are intended to support the workflow associated with compatible Diabetik Foot Care India products.

The App and its reports do not replace professional medical judgment, diagnosis, or treatment.

Healthcare professionals and authorized users are responsible for interpreting test results and making appropriate decisions based on the information available to them.

14. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for authorized users and personnel using compatible Diabetik Foot Care India products.

The App is not specifically directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for purposes unrelated to the intended functionality of the App.

15. User Responsibilities
